A Morality tale for Christmas . . ..

On Ron’s Rants page – and bloody brilliant as well.

The comment I would have liked to have left is this:

The sad thing about something so wonderfully written, is that it’s so true!

I will join you in wishing the Troll and all his family and “friends” a Happy Fucking Christmas, as this may be his/their last one – I refer to one of your earlier posts “He who has nothing left, has nothing left to lose”. Amen to that!

I really need to get off my erse, so to speak, and get on with my blog and also the about me page.  Just haven’t been in the right place recently and can’t seem to get going.  I think it’s part depression, part Christmas coming (I go like this every year ‘cos by this time I’m already sick of it!) and part apprehension about what is to come – ‘cos it’s getting nearer and nearer to the big operation!

Being like this isn’t doing me any good – I’m tending to sit and read, and read and then read some more – sometimes it’s the only way I can face the world – by disappearing inside a book.  Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad that I can actually switch off – there were times that I couldn’t and that really didn’t help my depression – that’s when I was in the really black place.  The black place is a terrible place to be – I don’t like it and I don’t want to go there hence me being glad that I can read.

Still in all, I want to be able to do other things – like my blog, like reading others blogs – let’s face it, I’m in a position that many of you are and rely on the computer to get me out and about!  It’s nearly impossible to get out of the house (I have to have help so it’s not like I can take a wander around the garden or a stroll around the block) – so my computer is my outside and I need to use it a wee bit more.  I do actually get to a point where I get angry with myself for just sitting there reading when I should be doing other things!  Daft isn’t it?

Right, I’m here at the computer so I’m going to catch up on blogs and then try and catch up on the ‘About me’ section.

The day after Remembrance day – should now be called “UK ‘Open Arms’ day for terrorists”  The day the UK finally went mad and allowed not one, but how many terrorists stay in this Godforsaken country!

All benefits to those who are elderly, disabled, poor and in need to be cut – we need that money for the trails and house arrests, for the homes and benefits and for the solicitors extortionate fees for looking after these poor, poor terrorists!

Again, let me apologise to those who fought and are still fighting for this damn country!

For all those who fought (and still fight) for our Country – thank you. For those in the 1st and 2nd World War – you fought and gave your lives to a country that you would no longer recognise. There is still terrible poverty and suffering in your country and it’s getting worse. There is so much crime and murder, but most perpetrators get away with it – the Government today is as evil as those you tried so hard not to get onto our shores. There is no respect nor any manners from the past couple of generations as they have taught their children to take and to want! (There are of course exceptions but these are now in the minority). Greed is rife so crime is up – yet they blame it on poverty. I agree that the poverty is bad but I was brought up in a family that suffered a lot from poverty but me and mine never turned to thieving or cheating. I could go on and on – but what I am trying to say is, I am sorry – so very sorry that you gave your lives for this country as most of today’s inhabitants wouldn’t give their lives for it, they’d get out of it through race and religion or through the EU and it’s “rights”.

Thank you for giving me a chance to live by laying down your own lives – I will always remember – I will never forget. I’m just ashamed that the country has let you down and that you fought for nothing in the end 😦

Has not been feeling too well this past few days – the infection in my foot and leg is hurting and I’ve got some kind of virus – the two combined have left me feeling very low and my depression is worse.  My CPN came out to the home today and she was concerned about the way I am feeling.  I suppose everyone feels helpless when they all know that it’s getting nearer and nearer for the amputation.  It’s fine to say “It’s in the future so try not to worry”, but I do worry and I’m bloody well frightened.

I’m due at the hospital on Thursday to see my Plastic Surgeon – which will probably be for the last time as the leg is coming off so what it the point of going to see him again after this?  He’s a wonderful man and has been the only one who has fought in my corner – and he tried so very hard to save my foot.  He’s also been the only one who has been straight with me all along the line.

I don’t know if he will see the way the infection has spread over the last couple of weeks (only the nurses have seen this) – so I don’t know if he’s going to recommend sooner rather than later now for the operation.  If he suggests that I need go in sooner then I’ll take notice of him as I do trust him (well, as much as you can trust any health professional when you are having to have an amputation due to negligence!)

I’m scared, I’m sore, I’m under the weather and I’m feeling really down.  I wish I could curl up in a tight ball and go to sleep and not wake up 😦  I hate feeling like this but so much has happened since May, and so much is still to come – I’m not surprised that I feel like I do.
